Welcome to Texas....I Think!!

We have been driving hard for the last three days to get to McKinney Texas to talk to the owners of MCD Innovations about working for them. Our friend Jimmy gave them our names after they heard MCD was looking for a couple to work with. So, we said goodbye to our friends and left Casa Grande on Monday the 8th bound for Texas.

It was a long drive, over 1000 miles, but the coach ran well and we did not get into any bad weather. We got to MCD yesterday (2/10/10) and set up the RV and spoke with owner Dave for an hour or so. Today we will meet again and go through the manufacturing plant.

We awoke about 7:00pm and of course nature called, so in my sleepy vision it looked awfully white outside. Upon further inspection, I realized it was snowing...hard...and there was about 2" of snow on the ground. I believe this is snow since I have not seen it for quite some time. I ventured out to take a few pictures and, indeed, it was snow! I remember that cold, wet stuff! Looks like it will be snowing all day here near Dallas. It was even featured on the Weather Channel, that is until so much snow got on our satellite dish that the feed fuzzed out!

So, as I said in the title of this post....Welcome to Texas!

How long before you return to God's Country and leave that white stuff? Are you going to be in Tucson?
